Open Source Machine Learning Engineer

You will improve open-source machine learning libraries, collaborate with users and contributors, and support the wider ML community through GitHub, forums, and Slack. You will help make machine learning tools accessible and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Improve open-source machine learning libraries
• Collaborate with users and contributors across the open-source ML ecosystem
• Support users through GitHub, forums, and Slack
• Help foster the machine learning community

Requirements

• Strong Python skills and experience writing well-tested, maintainable library code
• Hands-on experience with a modern deep-learning framework, especially PyTorch
• Experience with Transformers, Datasets, Accelerate, or comparable ML libraries
• Public track record of open-source contributions
• Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and transformer architectures
• Experience collaborating with a technical community
• Fluent written English
