Technical Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer

You will lead the technical strategy, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise AI solutions. You will remain hands-on with coding, reviews, and optimization; lead Applied AI Engineers; guide customers from pre-sales through implementation; and design scalable systems using fine-tuning, RAG, agentic workflows, and custom LLM applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical code for complex AI projects and de-risk key technical areas
• Review and optimize AI solutions
• Lead and mentor Applied AI Engineers
• Lead technical pre-sales discussions and translate customer requirements into solutions
• Design and oversee complex AI systems, including fine-tuning, RAG, agentic workflows, and custom LLM applications
• Identify emerging AI trends, evaluate tools and methodologies, and champion deployment best practices
• Integrate customer feedback into product development with product managers, researchers, and engineers

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• PhD or Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field
• 7/8+ years of AI/ML experience
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role focused on AI products or enterprise solutions
• Experience leading teams to deliver complex AI projects from prototyping to production
• Expertise in fine-tuning LLMs, advanced RAG, agentic systems, and deploying NLP applications at scale
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern AI frameworks such as LangChain and Hugging Face
• Software engineering skills including API design, backend/full-stack development, and system architecture
• Technical communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
