Principal Product Manager - Compliance / AML / Risk Platform

You will own the product roadmap for AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting systems. You will design risk scoring frameworks, improve KYC/KYB onboarding and CDD/EDD processes, define fraud detection strategies, build risk platform tooling, and bridge regulatory requirements with product implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting systems
• Design and optimize risk scoring frameworks across onboarding and the transaction lifecycle
• Partner with Compliance to translate BSP / AMLC regulations into scalable product features
• Build and improve KYC/KYB onboarding flows for individuals and businesses
• Optimize CDD/EDD processes, including document verification, liveness checks, and risk tiering
• Define and implement fraud detection strategies for account takeover, scams, and mule accounts
• Collaborate with data teams to develop rules engines, alerting systems, and case management tools
• Improve real-time monitoring for transactions and user behavior
• Build internal case management, investigation workflow, audit trail, and reporting tools
• Integrate with KYC providers, blockchain analytics, and sanctions list vendors
• Work with Compliance, Risk & Fraud Operations, Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering
• Bridge regulatory requirements and product implementation

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in fintech, payments, or crypto
• Strong understanding of AML / CFT frameworks
• Strong understanding of KYC / KYB processes
• Strong understanding of transaction monitoring
• Experience building or managing risk engines, fraud systems, or compliance platforms
• Familiarity with Philippines regulations such as BSP / AMLC or similar regulatory environments
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions
• Experience in crypto, blockchain, or exchange platforms is nice to have
• Knowledge of fraud typologies, sanctions screening, and the travel rule is nice to have
• Experience with Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Onfido, Sumsub, or Jumio is nice to have
• Background in compliance, risk, or data analytics is nice to have
