Manager of Solutions Engineering

You will lead the end-to-end Solutions Engineering function, guiding enterprise partners from technical discovery and solution design through production launch and ongoing support. You will manage and mentor Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers, provide architectural leadership for complex integrations, establish scalable engagement models, and improve integration quality through partner feedback and postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine the Solutions Engineering program, including engagement models, partner tiering, and escalation paths
• Build, manage, mentor, and grow a team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers
• Lead technical partner engagements from discovery and solution design through production launch and ongoing support
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for high-tier partners
• Guide system and integration design for complex or non-standard use cases
• Review proposed architectures and technical trade-offs
• Derisk integrations through design reviews, prototyping, and technical deep dives
• Set and uphold technical quality standards for enterprise integrations
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface partner needs and tooling gaps
• Design scalable engagement models, SLAs, documentation standards, and feedback loops
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and certification for solutions engineers
• Represent the organization in strategic partner conversations and technical reviews
• Continuously improve the program using integration learnings and postmortems

Requirements

• Significant experience leading customer-facing engineering or solutions teams
• Strong technical background in architectural discussions, system-level trade-offs, and complex integrations
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams such as Solutions Architects, Forward-Deployed Engineers, or Partner Engineers
• Experience defining structure, processes, and best practices in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with enterprise or institutional partners and senior technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel occasionally for partner engagements
