Head of Communications

You will define communications strategy and shape compelling narratives around product milestones, customer outcomes, and industry ideas. You will lead announcements, media relations, issues management, executive communications, audience growth, internal communications, and search and AI-answer-engine visibility. You will also develop communications partners and hires as needs grow.

Responsibilities

• Define communications strategy and shape long-term direction
• Turn product milestones and customer outcomes into stories, thought leadership, and campaigns
• Serve as primary spokesperson and media liaison
• Run major announcements for launches, funding, partnerships, and thought leadership
• Lead issues management and crisis communications
• Grow owned audiences and executive visibility
• Improve discoverability across search and AI answer engines
• Lead internal and employee communications
• Engage agency partners and hire as needed

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience at high-growth technology companies, including senior leadership roles
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging narratives
• Hands-on media relations experience and an established top-tier press network
• Knowledge of traditional and new media, search, and AI answer-engine dynamics
• Issues management and crisis communications experience
• Knowledge of communications measurement and analytics tools
