Wired Network Engineer Fabric Build

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot wired network infrastructure. You will manage switches through Aruba Central, deploy Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies and EVPN-VXLAN fabrics, execute migrations, document results, and coordinate work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network switches, structured cabling, and wired infrastructure
• Configure and manage switches through Aruba Central
• Implement and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies
• Deploy and support EVPN-VXLAN fabric architectures
• Execute migration pre-checks, cutovers, validation, and rollback
• Coordinate implementation with the Lead Wired Network Engineer
• Document configurations, cabling, port maps, and migration results
• Coordinate schedules and progress with project teams, facilities, and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve network build, migration, and post-migration issues

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of enterprise networking experience
• Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
• VLANs, Spanning Tree, BGP, and OSPF
• EVPN-VXLAN, underlay, overlay, VTEP, VNI, and symmetric IRB
• Fiber and copper cabling, optics, and switch installation
• DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, and TCP/IP
• Network troubleshooting and documentation
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification
• Willingness to work overnight and weekend maintenance windows
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
