VP Sales Enterprise API Sales

You will set the strategic and commercial direction for Enterprise API Sales. You will qualify opportunities, develop tailored proposals, close high-value enterprise deals, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with Product and Engineering on the API roadmap. You will build executive client relationships, support Sales Directors, represent the API platform at industry events, and travel occasionally for business meetings.

Responsibilities

• Execute the enterprise sales strategy and go-to-market plans for the API platform
• Support the development of Sales Directors and foster enterprise sales excellence
• Identify and prioritize high-impact enterprise API opportunities
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with VP- and C-level decision-makers
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align the Enterprise API roadmap with client needs
• Close enterprise-level deals and achieve or exceed sales quotas
• Manage and maintain the individual sales pipeline for reporting and forecasting
• Represent the API platform at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
• Travel occasionally to business meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• MBA preferred
• 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, or digital assets
• Experience leading and scaling a sales team
• Proficiency with CRM and sales performance platforms
• API-based solution selling experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
