UI Artist (Middle)

playSTUDIOS Vietnam is seeking a UI Game Artist to develop polished game interface assets from concept through production, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and alignment with technical and creative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare UI mockups and design layouts from briefs using existing assets, found assets, sketches, or new concepts.
• Create high-quality titles and logos.
• Produce new UI and element assets, rework existing assets, or license design library content.
• Slice and deliver approved project assets and textures.
• Ensure assets are delivered to the Technical Artist on time and meet Art Director quality standards.
• Communicate with other departments to support smooth workflows and technical requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in UI or concept design, preferably in gaming.
• Intermediate written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience critiquing work and communicating ideas clearly.
• Strong organization, file management, and presentation skills.
• Solid knowledge of graphic design and UI design.
• Understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, typography, color, negative space, and balance.
• Ability to visualize full user flows and design assets within a broader context.
• Self-direction, drive, and willingness to ask for help.
• Strong technical proficiency and ability to quickly learn new tools, including AI.
