Trading Production Engineer

You will provide production coverage during U.S. trading hours, monitor trading workflows, respond to alerts and failed jobs, troubleshoot degraded systems, automate routine work, and implement safe code or configuration changes. You will maintain monitoring, alerting, documentation, and support processes while coordinating handoffs and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational coverage during U.S. trading hours
• Monitor end-to-end trading workflows
• Monitor market connectivity and data quality
• Respond to alerts failed jobs and degraded systems
• Resolve routine and moderately complex issues
• Maintain monitoring alerting documentation and support processes
• Automate repetitive work
• Implement safe code and configuration changes
• Coordinate regional handoffs
• Communicate with researchers engineers and middle-office teams

Requirements

• Experience in production engineering trade support systems operations or a related function
• Working proficiency with Python Linux and shell scripting
• Ability to read and debug existing code
• Ability to make tested well-scoped changes
• Familiarity with monitoring alerting automation data pipelines or scheduled production workflows
• Systematic troubleshooting approach
• Sound judgment about when to act independently or involve engineers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative and self-directed working style
• Interest in production ownership reliability and operational improvement
