Systems Engineer Platform Requirements and Verification

You will own vehicle-platform requirements, documentation, alignment, and verification. You will define tests, improve simulation for platform verification, automate requirements processes, evaluate platform capabilities, and work with external partners to deliver a validated vehicle platform supporting the safety case.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, align, and verify vehicle-platform requirements
• Define efficient methods to describe and evaluate requirements
• Drive vehicle-platform architecture requirements
• Communicate requirement and test updates to stakeholders
• Apply safety standards and methodologies
• Define simulator improvements for vehicle-platform verification
• Write and track tests and test execution
• Enhance vehicle-platform capabilities and documentation
• Implement tools and methodologies to automate requirements processes
• Work with external partners to deliver a verified and validated vehicle platform

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline
• At least 3 years of automotive, robotics, aerospace, or related industry experience
• Requirements specifications and metrics
• Complex vehicle test campaigns
• ISO 26262, SOTIF, and/or UL 4600
• Mathematics, engineering, physics, and vehicle dynamics
• Python or Matlab data analysis
• Vehicle actuation, including brakes, steering, and propulsion
