Lead technical direction while contributing as an individual contributor. Architect backend projects, design product-focused API layers, improve performance and reliability, and support blockchain data pipelines, CI/CD, logging, metrics, NFTs, splits, governance, and membership features.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and guide engineering vision
- Architect critical systems and anticipate scaling challenges
- Design, build, and improve core backend infrastructure
- Design and develop product-focused API layers for internal and external use
- Act as a player-coach and champion code quality and developer experience
- Improve real-time blockchain data pipelines
- Improve CI/CD, deployment, logging, metrics, and service health visibility
- Develop backend application development best practices
- Mentor and train other engineers
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience writing production software
- Live between GMT-8 and GMT-5 (North American timezones)
