Staff Platform Engineer

You will own the technical direction of platform infrastructure while remaining hands-on with critical system design and implementation. You will build and operate GCP workloads, authentication, Kubernetes services, networking, databases, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability systems. You will troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call, make architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and evolution of platform infrastructure
• Design, build, and maintain reliable platform systems and services on GCP
• Develop critical systems in Go
• Design and implement OAuth 2.0 authentication systems and integrations
• Operate workflow orchestration with Temporal
• Build and operate production workloads on Kubernetes
• Design and manage VPC, Cloud IPsec, and KMS infrastructure
• Design and operate Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL systems
• Improve CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Establish observability, monitoring, and alerting across platform systems
• Lead complex platform and infrastructure problem solving
• Own production issues and participate in the on-call rotation
• Drive projects from design through implementation and operation
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering practices
