You will design and implement planning, reasoning, memory, and tool-use architectures for humanoid robot control. You will develop evaluation and observability methods, collaborate on end-to-end capabilities, engage with stakeholders on practical use cases, and translate agentic research into reliable production systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement System 2 architectures for humanoid robot control, including planning, reasoning, memory, and tool-use frameworks
- Develop logging, observability, and evaluation methodologies to measure reasoning quality, safety, reliability, and generalization
- Collaborate with behavior, controls, perception, and product teams to ship end-to-end capabilities
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand real-world use cases
- Translate state-of-the-art agentic research into production systems
- Contribute through code reviews, testing, documentation, and system design
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience working on LLM-driven or agentic systems
- Experience building or deploying agentic architectures
- Experience improving agentic system performance through evaluation and benchmarking
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software architecture
- Ability to build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software
- Ability to reason about safety, failure modes, and robustness in autonomous systems
