Staff Engineer, UI

You will develop and maintain software modules supporting Mission System and Support tools. You will write new code, fix bugs, deliver work to agreed schedules, identify delivery risks early, and collaborate with developers to solve problems and design software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software code for Mission System and Support tools.
• Fix software bugs.
• Complete tasks to agreed schedules and communicate likely delays or failures.
• Participate in discussions to generate ideas, solve bugs, and design software applications.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• Minimum Distinction academic average or relevant previous experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently or as part of a team.
• Experience designing and implementing new software modules and maintaining existing source code.
• C++, JavaScript, and ReactJs development skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills for communicating complex ideas.
