SRE L1 L2 Support Cloud Platform Ops Engineer

You will monitor GPU clusters, networks, storage, and environmental systems during the assigned shift. You will respond to alerts, follow runbooks, triage hardware issues, perform standard remediation, manage incident tickets, complete physical data-center tasks, and provide structured handoffs and incident data for automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GPU cluster health, network status, storage systems, and environmental sensors.
• Respond to alerts and execute runbooks for common incidents.
• Perform hardware triage and standard remediation.
• Collect diagnostic data for escalations.
• Manage incident tickets through resolution or escalation.
• Perform physical data-center tasks, including cabling and hardware replacement.
• Execute structured shift handoffs with the APAC operations team.
• Maintain operational runbooks.
• Assist with hardware deployments, firmware updates, and inventory management.
• Tag and document novel incidents for automation.

Requirements

• 2+ years in NOC, data center operations, or IT support.
• Linux system administration skills.
• Monitoring-tool familiarity, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Experience with ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
• Ability to perform physical data-center tasks.
• Communication skills for handoffs, documentation, and escalation.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts from 8AM to 8PM PST.
• Comfort with structured data and automation.
