Software Engineer Intern Industrialization

You will develop, test, and help deploy Python-based automated test procedures for hardware subsystems. You will control devices, sensors, and cameras through software interfaces, collaborate on shopfloor testing workflows, write resilient code, and produce test documentation and technician procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and help deploy Python-based automated test procedures for hardware subsystems
• Instrument and control hardware devices, sensors, and cameras through software interfaces
• Collaborate with test technicians and manufacturing engineers on shopfloor testing workflows
• Write clean, resilient, and reproducible code
• Contribute to test documentation and technician procedures

Requirements

• University enrollment
• Ongoing or recently completed degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline
• Python programming experience
• Experience building projects that interact with hardware, sensors, or external APIs
• Hands-on hardware-interface experience
• Knowledge of measurement tolerances and repeatability
• Written and verbal technical communication skills
• Commitment to regular on-site presence in Zurich
