Software Engineer Infrastructure

You will design, implement, and maintain the backend and infrastructure systems supporting machine-learning inference, data pipelines, and product features. You will build APIs, scale inference workloads, evolve data ingestion and storage pipelines, and improve platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend and infrastructure components
• Build and scale APIs and services
• Scale machine-learning inference workloads
• Develop data ingestion and storage pipelines
• Ensure platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Translate requirements into robust production systems
• Own critical infrastructure end-to-end

Requirements

• Experience building and operating backend or infrastructure systems in production
• Software engineering experience designing reliable, maintainable, well-tested systems
• Experience designing and scaling APIs and services
• Proficiency with Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, research, and product
• Ability to make pragmatic trade-offs under real-world constraints
