Software Engineer Golang Managed K8s

You will build an end-to-end Kubernetes product on company-owned infrastructure. You will design and implement the control plane, scheduling, operators, provisioning, and node lifecycle. You will own control-plane reliability, accelerate cluster provisioning, collaborate on product priorities, and raise engineering standards through code review and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship the Kubernetes control plane
• Own architecture and implementation decisions for scheduling, operators, provisioning, and node lifecycle
• Own Kubernetes control-plane reliability
• Automate the path from bare metal to on-demand clusters
• Partner with Product Managers to set priorities and make technical trade-offs
• Raise engineering standards through code review and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Experience shipping production systems in Go
• Experience operating Kubernetes and ideally building operators, schedulers, or controllers
• Experience working directly with Linux
• Experience with GPU workloads on Kubernetes or ability to own the domain quickly
• Extensive experience building backend or infrastructure systems
• Experience partnering with product, design, and business teams to ship software
