Software Engineer Frontend

You will build and evolve real-time collaborative editing experiences, integrate AI capabilities into polished interfaces, optimize editor performance, and work with design and backend counterparts on APIs, UI interactions, and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve real-time collaborative editing using CRDTs and WebSockets
• Ship full-stack features that integrate AI into polished user experiences
• Optimize frontend performance for responsive editing at scale
• Collaborate with designers on high-quality UI interactions and visual details
• Contribute improvements to core open-source projects
• Design APIs with backend engineers for collaboration and content creation

Requirements

• 3+ years building production web applications
• Strong JavaScript, React, and modern web development fundamentals
• Experience with real-time collaborative systems or WebSockets
• Familiarity with CRDTs or operational transformation
• Experience building rich text editors or content editors
