Software Engineer (Entry-Level) - C++

Maintain and develop high-performance C++ systems supporting core business operations, handle system upkeep and lower-risk feature requests, execute projects, solve complex technical problems, and collaborate with Quant and Trading stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain core systems
• Service lower-risk feature requests
• Execute individual projects
• Build and maintain reliable, efficient, scalable, and flexible systems
• Obtain requirements from Quant and Trading stakeholders
• Workshop solutions and implement agreed-upon roadmaps
• Collaborate with developers to deliver cohesive solutions

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or an equivalent technical field
• Graduating by August 2027
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM
• Modern C++ programming experience using C++20 or later, with C++23 preferred
• Experience with distributed systems, parallel processing, asynchronous architectures, networking, protocol encoding or decoding, lock-free data structures and algorithms, performance profiling, or scripting
• Familiarity with GDB, Valgrind, or address sanitizer
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders and work independently
