Software Engineer Developer Velocity

You will own the internal developer platform from architecture and rollout through operations and measurement. You will improve builds, CI/CD, development environments, deployment mechanics, and engineering metrics. You will build context and integrations for coding agents, drive adoption through documentation and defaults, and establish permissions, secrets handling, and audit trails.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal developer platform end to end
• Improve build tooling, caching, CI pipelines, merge queues, test suites, and deployment mechanics
• Build reproducible development environments
• Establish engineering velocity metrics and dashboards
• Build repository context infrastructure and shared agent skills, subagents, and hooks
• Evaluate and integrate third-party coding tools
• Drive platform adoption through defaults, documentation, and embedded collaboration
• Create permissions, secrets handling, and audit trails

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developer productivity, build/release engineering, or internal platforms
• Deep expertise in build systems and CI/CD
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL
• Experience with backend systems, APIs, and distributed or asynchronous workflows
• Experience with LLMs and agent frameworks, including tool calling, MCP, context management, orchestration, and failure handling
• Fluency with AI coding tools
• AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes fundamentals
• Excellent written communication
