Software Development Director

You will define and execute the engineering strategy, provide architectural and organizational guidance, and lead multiple distributed engineering teams. You will ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product and platform initiatives; improve workflows and development practices; evolve scalable and maintainable systems; align priorities with Product, QA, DevOps, and executive stakeholders; manage development risks; and promote observability, security, testing, and release management.

• Champion modern technologies and development practices.
• Partner with Product, QA, DevOps, and executive stakeholders to align priorities and define technical requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the development lifecycle.
• Promote observability, security, testing, and release-management best practices.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on transparency, continuous improvement, quality, and innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional engineering teams in complex, high-growth environments.
• Expertise in modern architectures, cloud infrastructure, and microservices.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies, CI/CD practices, and engineering metrics.
• Experience managing distributed teams and scaling organizations across multiple geographies.
• Communication and stakeholder-management skills for technical and non-technical leaders.
• Decision-making and problem-solving ability in high-stakes environments.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
