Senior Trading Systems DevOps Engineer

You will build, scale, and optimize low-latency trading platforms and their AWS and hybrid-cloud infrastructure. You will automate infrastructure, operate release and telemetry pipelines, improve reliability and performance, support incident response and on-call rotations, and enforce security across trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and optimize low-latency trading platforms
• Architect AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure for microsecond execution
• Design and maintain release pipelines for trading engines
• Enhance platform reliability, performance, scalability, and security
• Provision messaging paths for venue expansions
• Automate infrastructure, network topology, and OS configurations
• Build real-time telemetry pipelines
• Reduce tick-to-trade latency and accelerate deployment cycles
• Practice incident response, establish error budgets, and conduct blameless postmortems
• Share on-call duties and serve as an escalation point for production incidents
• Enforce security best practices across trading infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Infrastructure or Systems Engineering experience in low-latency electronic trading environments
• Linux kernel performance tuning, memory management, and network I/O optimization
• AWS low-latency infrastructure expertise
• Experience productionizing low-latency trading systems across cloud, on-premises, and colocation environments
• CI/CD pipeline experience for stateful trading systems
• FIX protocol and Aeron messaging experience
• Physical network design, TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets, and low-latency routing knowledge
• Terraform and Ansible proficiency
• Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes experience
• Container image security experience
• Grafana Cloud, Alloy, or Prometheus expertise
• Python and Bash scripting fluency
