Senior / Staff AI Platform Engineer

You will build platform APIs, SDKs, and shared tools that enable engineers to ship agent features. You will develop evaluation infrastructure, tracing, observability, and model-routing capabilities. You will also support platform adoption, reliability, and scale across production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform APIs and SDKs for agent features
• Develop evaluation infrastructure, including runners, results storage, and dashboards
• Implement end-to-end tracing and observability across services
• Manage model-provider routing, fallbacks, rate limits, and cost controls
• Onboard engineering teams with documentation and hands-on support
• Partner on the reliability and scale of the agent runtime

Requirements

• 4–6 years building and scaling production backend or platform systems
• Experience building a platform, API, or SDK adopted by other developer teams
• Experience with production LLM or agent systems
• Depth in distributed systems and observability, including cross-service tracing
• Experience working with internal customers and partner teams
