Senior Software Engineer, Strategy Development

You will build the core software behind quantitative cryptocurrency trading operations. You will design, implement, and maintain market-making, arbitrage, and algorithmic execution strategies using Golang and Python, as well as sophisticated pricing models for digital assets. You will develop backtesting and market simulation frameworks to validate performance and risk, turn quantitative trading ideas into reliable production code, support strategy configuration and deployment, enable real-time parameter tuning, and analyze market data and strategy metrics to identify improvements and new sources of alpha.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement quantitative market-making, arbitrage, and algorithmic execution strategies using Golang and Python
• Build and maintain pricing models for digital assets
• Develop and enhance backtesting and market simulation frameworks
• Validate trading strategy performance and risk characteristics
• Translate trading ideas into robust production-ready code
• Contribute to strategy configuration, deployment, and real-time parameter-tuning systems
• Analyze strategy performance metrics and market data
• Identify opportunities for strategy improvement and alpha generation

Requirements

• Hold a BSc or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or another quantitative field
• Have at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a financial trading environment
• Demonstrate proficiency in Golang, C++, Java, Rust, or another high-performance language
• Have experience with Python or another data analysis language
• Have experience building pricing models or algorithmic trading strategies
• Understand financial markets, market microstructure, and common trading algorithms
• Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Communicate fluently in written and spoken English
• Experience building high-fidelity backtesting or market simulation environments is a bonus
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency market structure, DeFi protocols, and on-chain data is a bonus
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and machine learning concepts is a bonus
• Experience with large-scale time-series data and databases such as KDB+, InfluxDB, or TimescaleDB is a bonus
• Experience in performance-sensitive or low-latency environments is a bonus
