Senior Software Engineer Reap Direct Europe

You will own features through conception, deployment, and operation. You will build robust full-stack applications, design customer-facing interfaces and backend services, improve production reliability, collaborate on product delivery, maintain engineering standards, and help screen candidates and conduct interviews.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver products from concept to deployment
• Build high-quality full-stack fintech applications
• Lead by example and improve engineering practices and quality
• Keep the technology stack current with industry trends
• Improve reliability and stability of production products
• Help screen resumes and conduct interviews

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience for senior candidates, or 3+ years for strong mid-level candidates
• Full-stack experience with React and TypeScript/NestJS services and APIs
• Experience deploying to cloud infrastructure
• Ability to deliver maintainable, well-tested, production-ready code
• Strong problem-solving skills for correctness, edge cases, failure modes, and brownfield projects
• Applied database skills including schema design, query optimization, migrations, ORM performance, and PostgreSQL/Aurora
• Technical judgment and product understanding
• Peer-review and cross-functional collaboration skills
