Senior Software Engineer DevOps

You will own and evolve the infrastructure used to run, ship, and monitor software. You will write and ship production code across infrastructure, internal tooling, and application services. You will operate Kubernetes workloads and managed services on AWS, improve deployment pipelines, observability, security controls, disaster recovery, and incident response. You will also partner with engineering and compliance on audit readiness and reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS
• Build and improve deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Write and ship production code for infrastructure, tooling, and application services
• Own dashboards, alerting, and SLOs for critical payment flows
• Operate and scale messaging and database services
• Manage secrets, access controls, and identity infrastructure
• Design for high availability and disaster recovery
• Lead incident response and postmortems
• Optimize AWS cost and performance
• Partner with engineering and compliance on security controls and audit readiness

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in at least one general-purpose language, ideally Java or Kotlin
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles
• Strong experience operating production systems on AWS
• Proficiency with Kubernetes in production
• Experience with infrastructure as code and Helm
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic
• Knowledge of least-privilege access, secrets management, and network security
• Comfort with on-call and incident response
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development
• Clear written communication
