Senior Software Commissioning Engineer and AGV Consultant

You will program and commission automated guided vehicles and their control software in-house and at customer sites. You will create Siemens Step7 and visualization programs, optimize software, support systems through testing and final acceptance, train customer personnel, and prepare documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field
• Control-system knowledge and several years of experience in PLC programming and project planning, preferably Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as C, C++, C#, or Java, or microcontroller programming
• Fluent German and good English
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Class B driving licence
• Experience with WinCC Flexible or comparable visualization software is beneficial
• Knowledge of drive technology is beneficial
• Knowledge of CANopen, Profinet, and iWLAN is beneficial
