Senior Robotics Software Engineer

You will architect, build, document, test, and iterate on robotic-factory software. You will develop perception, motion-planning, and controls software, contribute to low-level robotics software with a focus on correctness and safety, and control industrial automation hardware.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, document, test, and iterate on robotic-factory software
• Develop perception, motion-planning, and controls software
• Contribute to low-level software for robotic systems
• Control industrial automation hardware, including actuators, motors, and hydraulic systems

Requirements

• Be an experienced Python developer
• Use at least one lower-level language such as C++
• Have experience with real-time, embedded, or robotics software
• Develop performant software
• Write clean code and documentation
• Test software and use version control and CI
• Be based in or relocate to the SF Bay Area
• Work 4–5 days per week from the San Leandro HQ
• Travel approximately 10% to solar construction sites
