Senior Revenue Accountant

You will support the end-to-end revenue accounting process, including monthly close, contract reviews, reconciliations, and audit support. You will evaluate complex commercial terms under ASC 606, work with cross-functional partners, improve systems and controls, and help scale revenue accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly revenue close process and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
• Perform ASC 606 contract reviews and document revenue recognition conclusions
• Evaluate non-standard contract terms and commercial arrangements
• Maintain and reconcile revenue, receivables, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and customer-credit schedules
• Reconcile revenue data to billing, usage, contract, and general ledger data
• Develop revenue accounting workbooks, rollforwards, and audit-trail documentation
• Partner with Billing, Revenue Operations, Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, and Finance on accounting implications
• Support accounting assessment and operationalization of new products and SKUs
• Prepare technical accounting memos
• Support external audits and auditor inquiries
• Improve revenue accounting processes, controls, reconciliations, reporting, and system integrations
• Develop scalable revenue accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience including revenue recognition experience
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606
• Experience evaluating customer contracts and revenue arrangements
• Experience working with large datasets and reconciling information across systems
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
