Senior QA Engineer

You will ensure the quality and reliability of web applications and backend services. You will define testable acceptance criteria, create and maintain automated test suites, perform manual testing for complex features, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will also use AI and LLM tools to improve test-case generation, test-data synthesis, log analysis, and edge-case discovery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product specifications to derive comprehensive, testable acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and identify edge cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and regression tests.
• Perform manual testing for complex or new features before full automation coverage is established.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve test coverage, reliability, and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD deployment pipeline.
• Create detailed bug reports, provide constructive feedback, and maintain testing documentation.
• Design and deploy AI-assisted testing workflows for recurring tasks.
• Evaluate and integrate LLM-based testing and coding tools into QA workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior QA Engineer or in a similar role testing modern web applications and backend services.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Understanding of backend services, REST APIs, GraphQL, and common failure scenarios.
• Ability to read and comprehend frontend and backend code for debugging and test creation.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools and processes.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
• Ability to build, deploy, or validate agent-assisted testing systems in a near-production context.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Must be based in South, North, or Central America.
