Senior Mechanical Engineer Medical

You will own mechanical systems from concept through validation. You will design structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical integrations; perform engineering analysis; select parts and materials; build and test prototypes; and collaborate with research, electrical, and software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical systems end to end, including structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical integration
• Design large-scale structures, frames, weldments, enclosures, and support systems
• Design linkages, motion stages, and actuation systems
• Integrate transducers, electronics, cabling, and thermal management
• Perform tolerance, structural, FEA, and kinematic analyses
• Build, prototype, test, and validate designs
• Select parts and materials for system-level integration
• Drive projects from concept through validation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping electromechanical hardware
• Mechanism design experience
• Experience designing large-scale structures
• CAD proficiency, including OnShape
• Rapid prototyping and hands-on fabrication experience
• R&D environment experience
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration experience
