Senior Manager Developer Platforms

You will own the developer toolchain, code-quality standards, and AI coding-tool governance. You will set controls for agentic tools, track delivery and developer-experience metrics, manage tooling vendors, and build, hire, and lead the Developer Platforms team.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer toolchain, including source control, CI/CD, build and test infrastructure, development environments, and integrations
• Set code-review, testing, and CI standards
• Manage developer-tooling vendors and spend
• Lead adoption of AI coding, review, and testing tools
• Design access and governance controls for agentic coding tools
• Define and enforce guardrails for autonomous agents in production-adjacent systems
• Track software delivery, developer experience, and AI-usage metrics
• Build the business case for, hire, and lead a Developer Platforms team

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or developer-productivity engineering
• People-leadership experience
• Experience owning CI/CD and source control for a sizable engineering organization
• Experience rolling out and governing AI coding tools
• Working knowledge of access control, audit logging, and compliance frameworks
• Experience raising code-quality and testing standards across multiple teams
