Senior Legal Counsel Crypto DeFi

You will manage legal, regulatory, and operational activities across multiple jurisdictions. You will oversee licensing, compliance, commercial structuring, legal entity governance, product advice, data privacy, intellectual property, and legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory licensing and cross-jurisdictional legal structures.
• Support corporate and commercial deal structuring and negotiation.
• Oversee firm-wide compliance.
• Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of existing and new products.
• Handle legal entity governance, new structures, intellectual property protection, and data privacy compliance.
• Manage contentious and non-contentious legal matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal and operations experience within crypto, asset management, or financial services.
• Knowledge of digital assets and crypto-native legal frameworks.
• Qualified lawyer or equivalent senior legal-function experience.
• Understanding of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including FCA, CIMA, SEC, and MiCA.
• Experience managing legal entity structuring, fund governance, and cross-border operations.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with offshore fund and asset management structures.
• Experience working with external counsel and regulators.
