Senior Front-End Network Engineer AI Infrastructure Operations

You will maintain the health, stability, and performance of production front-end Ethernet networks. You will resolve complex incidents, tune network performance, improve automation and monitoring, validate designs and standards, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own operational health, configuration consistency, and performance tuning for large-scale Ethernet fabrics.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex network incidents.
• Drive blameless postmortems and implement preventative fixes.
• Partner on automation, provisioning, validation, and monitoring systems.
• Validate network designs and enforce standards for routing, congestion management, firmware, and change safety.
• Monitor utilisation and performance and tune networks for predictable latency and throughput.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on Ethernet networking, DCI circuits, and storage integration.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• At least 3 years operating large-scale Ethernet data-centre or cloud networks.
• Operational experience with high-speed Ethernet fabrics.
• Expertise with Arista EOS and/or Nokia platforms.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ECMP, EVPN-VXLAN, and leaf-spine architectures.
• Experience with long-haul circuits and DCI.
• Experience with storage networking over Ethernet.
• Linux-based network troubleshooting experience.
• Python, Go, or shell scripting proficiency.
• Experience in a 24/7 operational environment.
