Senior Engineer Application Security

You will define application-security policies and deploy security scanning tools in CI/CD pipelines. You will review findings, work with developers to identify and remediate security issues, perform threat modeling, and validate that software designs meet secure coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Define application-security policies
• Deploy and configure scanning tools in CI/CD pipelines
• Review scanning results and identify security issues with developers
• Support remediation of code security issues
• Perform threat modeling
• Validate software designs against secure coding standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with approximately 4+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience developing or testing secure code
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, configuration management, and software lifecycle processes
• Familiarity with threat modeling
• Experience with static analysis, dynamic analysis, dependency mapping, and CVE scanning tools
• Experience working in a Linux development environment
• Understanding of cryptography concepts
