Senior Electrical Engineer Hardware Test

You will design, validate, and deploy advanced test systems for critical V-BAT components and subsystems. You will create PCB and test-interface designs, automate testing in Python, integrate fixtures, validate hardware in harsh environments, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, validation, and deployment of advanced test systems for V-BAT components and subsystems
• Architect PCBs and test interfaces for power electronics, RF, and communication systems
• Develop automated test sequences in Python
• Design and integrate test fixtures, relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and advocate for design for testability improvements
• Perform HASS, ESS, and HALT testing in simulated harsh environments
• Mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field
• 3 or more years of hardware design and test engineering experience or equivalent advanced-degree experience
• Electrical, mechanical, and software engineering expertise for hardware test systems
• Experience designing, implementing, and validating multidisciplinary hardware systems
• Python or another scripting language for test automation
• Experience with Altium, KiCAD, or Eagle
• Experience with SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or another high-reliability industry
