Senior Data Integration Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer to support a complex data migration initiative involving enterprise HR platforms. The role combines hands-on data engineering, system integration and technical coordination to ensure data is transferred accurately, consistently and reliably between systems.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements, resolve integration challenges and establish robust, maintainable data flows.

• Proven experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Practical experience with APIs, data connectors and cross-system integrations.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data transformation and data architecture.
• Experience delivering or supporting complex data migration projects.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly when working with data quality issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating enterprise HR platforms and handling employee-related data.
• Familiarity with Workday system
• Familiarity with data loading and extraction tools used by HR systems.
• Experience migrating historical employee, employment and compensation records.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience coordinating technical delivery and advising stakeholders on integration architecture.
