Senior Data Engineer - Application

Build robust, scalable, maintainable, and monitored data pipelines in cloud environments. Develop customer integrations, Java microservices, ETL workflows, data enrichment processes, and high-availability infrastructure while addressing data quality, schema management, monitoring, and cross-functional integration needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customer-facing integrations of various asset types into data pipelines
• Design and develop Java microservices running on K8S and AWS
• Develop, design, and maintain end-to-end ETL workflows
• Implement data ingestion and transformation logic across multiple data sources
• Enrich financial data through third-party integrations and FIX, CSV, and JSON formats
• Use AI agents such as Claude to code solutions within organizational conventions
• Plan and communicate integrations with teams that consume data and create insights
• Address data duplication, velocity, schema adherence, schema versioning, high availability, and data governance

Requirements

• BSc. in Computer Sciences
• At least 3 years of experience with Java
• 5+ years in data engineering and data pipeline development on high-volume, low-latency production environments
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with Apache Airflow, K8S, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Redis, caching technologies, and Kafka
• Experience with relational, non-relational, and time series databases
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization
• Experience designing infrastructure at scale to maintain high-availability SLAs
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a remote environment
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or trading industries and familiarity with FIX and market data are advantageous
