Senior Blockchain Engineer

You will design and build blockchain integration services for transaction signing, deposits, and confirmation tracking across multiple networks. You will develop Go gRPC microservices, implement reliable transaction state machines, integrate custody providers, monitor networks, respond to incidents, and support client technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build blockchain integration services for transaction signing, deposit processing, and confirmation tracking
• Build and maintain gRPC microservices in Go using an event-driven architecture and NATS JetStream
• Implement reliable transaction state machines with idempotency, distributed locking, and chain-reorganization handling
• Integrate custody providers for transaction signing and wallet management
• Monitor blockchain networks for deposits, confirmations, and anomalies
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
• Communicate directly with client technical teams when necessary

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in FinTech
• Proficiency with Go
• Understanding of blockchain technologies, protocols, and applications
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
• Familiarity with message brokers or event-streaming systems
• Experience with MongoDB or another document database
• Understanding of SQL and relational database schema design
• Problem-solving skills for complex distributed systems
• Verbal and written communication skills
