Senior Backend Engineer

You will develop and maintain critical banking systems, integrate external partners, and keep services available and resilient. You will identify ways to improve customer experiences, take AI-powered ideas from concept to production, and share your technical knowledge while continuing to learn from colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own critical banking domains.
• Develop and maintain systems supporting banking products.
• Integrate external partners with the platform.
• Maintain high system availability and resilience.
• Identify ways to improve the customer experience.
• Explore and deliver AI enhancements from idea through production.
• Share technical knowledge and support the development of colleagues.

Requirements

• Have at least four years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Have a solid background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Communicate clearly and work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Experience with Go is an advantage.
• Financial or trading experience is an advantage.
• Undergo criminal-record screening where required by local regulations.
• Not be registered in RKI.
