Senior Android Engineer

You will own Android features end to end, from understanding user needs and shaping solutions through building, shipping, and evaluating performance. You will write well-tested Kotlin and Compose UI, collaborate across platforms and with design, make sound decisions amid ambiguity, and help improve mobile code quality, testing, and product thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own Android features end to end, from problem discovery through delivery and performance evaluation
• Shape product scope, propose simpler solutions, and raise platform constraints early
• Write idiomatic, well-tested Kotlin and Jetpack Compose UI
• Collaborate with iOS, web, and backend engineers to determine where functionality should live
• Partner with leadership, design, and engineers to ship Android experiences
• Clarify ambiguous requests, identify edge cases, and propose practical first steps
• Drive product and feature direction amid ambiguity
• Raise the bar for code quality, testing, and product thinking
• Attend twice-yearly in-person offsites in locations around the United States
