Senior 3D Web Engineer (Three.js, WebGL, WebGPU)

You will design and maintain cloud-based 3D digital twin and simulation applications. You will build interactive 3D web features, render and optimize scenes, integrate backend and telemetry data, translate complex operational needs into user-facing tools, communicate technical recommendations, mentor engineers, and document application designs and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based 3D digital twin and simulation applications
• Build interactive 3D web applications using Three.js, WebGL, WebGPU, and frontend technologies
• Develop features for visualizing robot movement, warehouse layouts, fleet behavior, simulation results, telemetry data, and automation workflows
• Develop 3D rendering, scene management, camera controls, object interaction, animation, lighting, shadows, shaders, and materials
• Resolve frontend and 3D-rendering performance bottlenecks
• Integrate visualization features with backend services, simulation engines, cloud APIs, telemetry streams, and digital twin data sources
• Collaborate across simulation, robotics, cloud, backend, UX/UI, product, and QA functions
• Translate robotics, simulation, and operational requirements into user-facing tools
• Provide technical insights, trade-off analysis, risks, and recommendations
• Mentor engineers and promote frontend and 3D engineering practices
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, design notes, API integration guides, and usage instructions
• Stay current with frontend development, 3D graphics, cloud simulation, digital twins, rendering engines, and AI-assisted development tools
• Perform related duties assigned by the manager or employer

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Computer Graphics, Robotics, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with frontend or 3D application development
• 3+ years of experience with React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks
• Professional ReactJS and ThreeJS expertise
• Mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with shaders, lighting, shadow mapping, materials, textures, camera systems, object selection, and scene optimization
• Understanding of frontend reliability, scalability, performance optimization, maintainability, and testing
• Verbal and written English proficiency
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive or fly to client and customer locations
