Risk Manager

You will design and manage the enterprise risk framework, risk appetite framework, risk register, KRIs, and reporting. You will oversee regulatory, operational, and third-party risks, support resilience and incident activities, and provide independent risk analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Maintain the Risk Appetite Framework, KRIs, risk register, and risk reporting processes
• Identify, assess, monitor, mitigate, and report material risks
• Prepare risk reports and management information for the Board and governance committees
• Provide independent risk insights and recommendations to senior management
• Oversee regulatory, financial-crime, and compliance risks
• Support regulatory licensing, filings, inspections, and supervisory responses
• Manage operational risk across process, people, technology, and third parties
• Support outsourcing and third-party risk assessments and monitoring
• Contribute to operational resilience and business continuity risk management
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking
• Promote risk awareness and challenge risk decisions and control effectiveness

Requirements

• At least 3 years of risk-management experience in payments, EMI, banking, fintech, or regulated financial services
• Experience managing and assessing digital-asset, crypto-asset, payment, or financial-technology risks
• Understanding of first- and second-line-of-defense responsibilities and risk governance
• Experience developing or maintaining risk frameworks, risk registers, risk appetite frameworks, KRIs, and risk reporting
• Experience presenting risk information to senior management or governance forums
• Understanding of operational risk and risk mitigation
• Analytical and data interpretation skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Current residency in Cyprus
