Risk Manager

Own the risk management framework, maintain and evolve the second line of defence, design risk methodologies, monitor exposures, and provide the Board and senior management with a clear view of business risks. Translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, policies, and monitoring across digital-asset custody, settlement, and safeguarding of client funds. Quantify exposures and collaborate with compliance, finance, product, engineering, and operations.

Requirements

• Experience in risk management within a regulated financial institution
• Familiarity with the Cypriot and EU regulatory landscape
• Experience covering crypto or digital-asset activities and e-money or payments activities
• Knowledge of MiCA, PSD2, EMD2, and related national law
• Understanding of operational, credit, liquidity, market, conduct, technology or ICT, and financial-crime risk
• Experience designing and maintaining risk management frameworks, risk appetite statements, capital and liquidity assessments, and risk registers
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into controls, policies, and monitoring
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to present risk to Boards, regulators, and non-specialist stakeholders
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, and globally distributed organisations
• Ability to collaborate with compliance, finance, product, engineering, and operations teams
