Regional Controller Mexico

You will own finance operations for the Mexico entity. You will oversee statutory accounting, financial reporting, compliance, service providers, close activities, reconciliations, audits, controls, and alignment between Mexican requirements and U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance operations for the Mexico entity
• Manage and review third-party accounting providers
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and investigate reconciliations, variances, and discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting, payroll, labor, and reporting requirements
• Partner on budgeting, forecasting, contract accounting, and operational finance initiatives
• Support external audits, ERP initiatives, and internal-control improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 8 years of related experience
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of Mexican statutory accounting, reporting, payroll, labor, and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multinational reporting
• Experience managing third-party professional service providers
• Experience with project accounting, long-term contract accounting, construction accounting, and revenue recognition
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience
• SAP experience preferred
• CPA preferred
