Quality Assurance Analyst

You will plan, design, and execute system testing across features and complex solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review requirements and technical designs, create test cases, perform manual and exploratory testing, document defects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to test automation and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
• Follow product development from conception through production delivery
• Write test specifications and test case scenarios
• Perform continuous manual and exploratory testing
• Plan testing activities and identify defects, operational problems, and errors
• Record and document defects so developers and business analysts can reproduce them
• Troubleshoot issues and identify product-efficiency improvements
• Contribute to the automation framework
• Ensure products meet requirements and end-user expectations
• Create and improve quality assurance policies and procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant quality assurance and testing experience
• Basic knowledge of test automation techniques, frameworks, and tools
• Experience specifying and running scenarios and test cases
• Experience with bug management tools and bug reporting
• Exploratory testing and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize widespread user issues and complaints
• Understanding of application context and quality attributes
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality control
• Experience working in an agile or lean environment
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
