QA Backend Manual and Automation Engineer

Ensure the quality and reliability of backend systems that manage tracking, analytics, and delivery of order-related events. Perform manual backend testing, validate REST APIs, write complex SQL queries, design and maintain automated JavaScript tests, analyze data discrepancies, debug issues, and collaborate with developers and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Test backend systems that handle tracking, analytics, and order event delivery.
• Validate REST APIs and write complex SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated backend tests using JavaScript.
• Analyze data discrepancies and investigate root causes.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to align testing with requirements.
• Improve testing strategies and increase automation coverage.

Requirements

• Experience in manual backend testing.
• Proficiency in REST API testing.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience in backend test automation using JavaScript.
• Strong data analysis skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficient debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Russian for internal communication and documentation.
