Production Engineer

You will scale robot-system production from 30 to 100 sets per quarter within a year. You will take modules from prototype to production, resolve design and assembly issues, develop assembly tooling, coordinate outsourced production, and create documentation and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Increase quarterly production from 30 robot-system sets to 100 within a year
• Take prototype modules to production readiness
• Identify and resolve design flaws and production issues
• Assemble modules and remove production bottlenecks
• Develop fixtures, jigs, and light automation for assembly
• Outsource low-value production processes while maintaining quality
• Produce drawings, assembly instructions, and quality checks

Requirements

• Industry experience transitioning products from prototype to production
• Hands-on analytical ability in assembly, studies, data analysis, production, and quality improvement
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly, including press fits, fastener selection, and harnesses
• Knowledge of GD&T and 3D and 2D drawings
• Experience creating work instructions, SOPs, and quality checklists
• Written and spoken English communication skills
