Product Manager Payments Infrastructure

You will own the technical roadmap for payment infrastructure, including rails, ledgers, settlement, currency conversion, virtual accounts, and partner integrations. You will collaborate with engineering on architecture and reliability, work with Treasury and Compliance on liquidity and regulatory needs, define infrastructure metrics, and document capabilities for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for payment processing infrastructure, including rails, ledger, settlement engine, and currency conversion
• Execute the virtual accounts strategy
• Partner with the Payment Experience PM to translate infrastructure capabilities into customer-facing features
• Evaluate and prioritize banking, liquidity, and Stablecoin rail integrations
• Define infrastructure investment priorities for scale
• Own ledger and transaction-processing systems that record and reconcile payments
• Own settlement logic across banking partners, liquidity providers, and Stablecoin rails
• Own multi-currency conversion and routing logic
• Own Virtual IBAN infrastructure and virtual account capabilities
• Partner with engineering on architecture decisions, including consistency, idempotency, failure handling, and reconciliation
• Work with Treasury on liquidity requirements and infrastructure design
• Work with Compliance to embed regulatory and licensing requirements into infrastructure
• Manage the roadmap for onboarding banking and liquidity partners
• Define and track infrastructure health metrics
• Partner with engineering on capacity planning and incident response
• Identify and prioritize technical debt affecting reliability or scale
• Document infrastructure capabilities and constraints
• Maintain an internal knowledge base of rail coverage and partner integrations
• Serve as a technical resource on payment infrastructure capabilities and constraints

Requirements

• 5+ years of product experience
• At least 3 years of experience with payments infrastructure, rails, ledgers, or core banking or transaction systems in fintech or crypto
• Technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, and data-consistency trade-offs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product, or a related field
• Written and verbal English fluency
• Cross-functional collaboration across time zones
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results under pressure
